Seatrees Birds

Over seventy percent of Seatrees Farm, home of Coast Cottages, is covered with natural bushland.  The property borders the coastal reserve and ocean.

This indigenous vegetation and coastline is a haven for over one hundred and twenty identified species of birds, both migratory and resident.   We are so privileged to have a large population of the endangered Rufous Bristlebird and the vulnerable Hooded Plover.

Water bowls for birds, crucial for their wellbeing on hot days but throughout all of the year are scattered throughout the property and are at all cottages.

Here is our selection of the most likely birds you will see when staying at Coast Cottages.
